Todd Johnson and son Trent Johnson defended their title by firing a 12 under par 95 (30-31-34) in the 27-hole event using scramble, shamble and modified alternate shot format. Bruce Bell and David Sykes came in 2nd with a 1 under par 106 (35-38-33), and Craig “Blaze” Armstrong and granddaughter Wilke Armstrong came in 3rd with an even par 107 (32-38-37). 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 21st and 23rd place were also awarded, as well as 8 other random team spot drawings. Prizes won that day by teams not on hand at the time of the awards presentation (Greg Doss team and Pat Coughlin team) are in the Pro Shop.
It was a beautiful day and everyone had a good time. We thank our members for supporting the event and hope their guests enjoyed themselves. Special thanks goes out to Bruce and Donna Bell for their efforts in planning and organizing this event. Special thanks also goes out to Pat for providing the delicious Chik-fil-A box lunch, and Bob McBride and Craig Sheffler, for getting it out to the players on the course.

46 players participated in the event, and 40 players participated in the optional skins game ($400 was in the skin pool): Bobby McAlister and Steve Smith had one skin with a birdie on #4 worth $65 each; Todd and Trent Johnson had one skin with an eagle on #3 worth $65 each; and Caleb Stonecipher and Jason Bell had one skin with a birdie on #11 worth $65 each.
