| Stay and Play
Paxton Park has a flexible "Stay and Play" package where you pick from a list of participating motels, participating restaurants, and you decide how long you will stay (minimum required to get the discount rates will be 2 days), and how many holes per day you want to play. Upon your arrival at Paxton Park, we will provide you with discount cards to use at the motels and restaurants that be necessary to get your discount.
The participating motels provide discounts of 15% off their regular room rates and are conveniently located near the Kentucky Oaks Mall development complex off exit 7 on I-24. These motels are approximately 5 minutes from the golf course.
Participating motels are The Country Inn & Suites (1-800-596-2375, or 1-270-442-2201) (CountryInnandSuites.com), Comfort Suites (1-877-424-6423, or 1-27-442-2080) (Choicehotels.com) and the Candlewood Suites (weekends only) (1-888-Candlewood, or 1-270-442-3969) (CandlewoodSuites.com). Players are responsible for their room reservations.
The participating restaurants provide discounts of 10-15% off their normal prices
and many are conveniently located within the Kentucky Oaks Mall development complex and some are in our historic downtown, and one is in between. The participating restaurants are El Chico Mexican Restaurant (15%), The Pasta House (10%), Texas Roadhouse (10%), Whalers Catch (10%) and Pizza Inn (10%). These are all great places to eat so it just depends on what type of food you are in the mood for.
The "Stay and Play" discount golf rates are as follows: $29 per player during the week for 18 holes; $36 for 27 holes and $42 for 36 holes. These rates all include the cart (equipped with GPS units). Rates during the weekend or holiday will be $33 on weekends for 18 holes; $40 for 27 holes and $46 for 36 holes.
It is required that you call ahead for tee time reservations before booking your room reservations in order to confirm course availability on the days you want to play. We will make tee time reservations for you on these packages more than the traditional 5 days in advance if you are participating in the Stay & Play program.
