Player Development and Golf Instruction
 

Paxton Park has 2 Teaching Professionals, Bob McBride, veteran professional, and Lucas Cromeenes, 2011 Irvin Cobb Golf Championships Professional Champion and Rend Lake College Golf Coach.  Both of these gentlemen are available for individual lessons as well as group lessons in 2013.  Please call the Pro Shop at 444-9514 to make an appointment.

Paxton Park will be a host facility for the World Golf Foundation's Get Golf Ready Program.  This is a golf industry wide initiative to grow the game of golf.  The program has two main goals: (1) bring golfers into the game in a fast, fun and gratifying way and (2) bring former golfers back into the game.  This will be done in a series of 5 group lessons format and will include swing fundamentals as well as etiquette, basic rules, history, safety, equipment, keeping score and getting around the course.  We will offer this course series several times throughout the season.  The cost for the class will be $99 per person.  The first class begins in May so if you have a friend who wants to learn to play golf, please call the Pro Shop to sign up.  Each class will be limited to approximately
8-10 players and classes will be offered throughout the season.

Paxton Park will conduct a junior golf clinic in 2013 (June 17, 18, 19 & 20) and junior memberships are available.  If your child is interested in the game, please get them involved in the "game of a lifetime".  It is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone.

The cost for the junior golf clinic will be $40 for the 4 day clinic series.  It will be available to junior boys and girls ages 9-16.  The lesson clinic will run from 9AM to 11AM each day.  Please contact the Pro Shop to sign your junior up today, or email us at golfpaxtonpark@aol.com.
